 Welcome to my website! I'm Veronica Bond. 


I invite you to join me in a Midwestern town called Wood Glen, where a castle sits tucked into acres of forest land--an edifice both beautiful and unexpected. It's to this castle that young actress Nora Blake travels for a new job, and it's here that she discovers murder.

What is a Castle?

What do you think of when you think of a castle? Something medieval, perhaps, fortified with high walls and a moat, protecting those within against the enemies outside its gates. Or perhaps you think of the covers of those wonderful Gothic mysteries, where a woman runs away from a dark, brooding man who stands in front of the forbidding gray walls of some castle or estate, and you know it's a book you want to read, because--what's in that castle?
